Founded in 2015, MJ Nester began as a small contractor focused on the installation of Thermal Oxidizers. By 2019, Bryan Tuckey joined the company with a clear vision—to become the leading name in full-service millwright and industrial contracting.

Under Bryan’s leadership, MJ Nester expanded its capabilities beyond millwright work to include mechanical and electrical installation, welding and fabrication, rigging, pipefitting, plant relocation, and industrial cleaning services. By 2023, the company grew again, launching a full-service PLC shop to provide turnkey automation and control solutions for clients across the U.S.

In the summer of 2025, James and Lisa O’Brien partnered with Bryan to help fulfill his vision for continued growth and expansion—combining Bryan’s deep operational expertise with the O’Briens’ leadership in marketing, technology, and strategic development.
